代表性科研成果

利用CRISPR基因编辑技术,将不含标记基因的胡萝卜素合成相关DNA大片段(5.2kb)精确定向插入到水稻基因组中的“安全港”位点(Genomic Safe Harbors)。获得了性状优良,且富含重要营养物质beta胡萝卜素的水稻植株。该方法进一步证明了基于基因编辑的DNA定向插入技术,可突破传统植物转化方法中外源基因插入位点不可预知的局限,为未来作物精准育种提供了新的思路。

为探究植物NLR免疫蛋白这一重要免疫受体的工作机制,通过遗传学和生物化学的手段,在模式植物拟南芥中揭示了NLR免疫蛋白SNC1及其辅助NLR蛋白家族SIKIC的协同工作机理,并发现两条泛素化通路分别对SNC1及SIKIC进行调控。此外,通过对于辅助NLR蛋白家族ADR1的研究,揭示了其成员间的复杂调控机理,同时阐述了ADR1蛋白家族在各类免疫蛋白通路中的作用。这些研究深化了我们对于植物免疫机理的认知。
