The Barton House is a beautifully restored circa 1820 building in
downtown historic Winchester. The Federalist style structure is adorned
with large porches, full length windows and a large garden area with a
magnificent magnolia tree. The interior boasts 14 foot ceilings, hand
carved molding, five orignial winchester fireplaces, and chandeliers
throughout the three well dressed floors. A stunning spiral staircase is
perfect for portraits. There are prep kitchens on the first and the second
floors and three powder rooms in total.
This lovely home is the perfect
setting for elegant wedding receptions that can accommodate up to 150
guests. In addition, events such as graduations, birthday parties, anniversaries, recitals,
holiday parties, garden clubs, conferences, and funeral receptions would be
enhanced in this striking atmosphere.

Dear Tom and Christina,
Thank You! Thank You! You made Claire and Wes's wedding such special day. The
Barton House is such a perfect venue and we were so fortunate to be able to use the garden
area as well as the home.
There were so many compliments on how you have been able to retain the history
of the house along with your ability to make it so warm and hospitable.
Again our many thanks and appreciation.
Regards,
Jane & George
